Dr Jay Junio

General Dentist

Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Dr. Jay graduated from the University of British Columbia with his B.Sc in Cellular Biology and Genetics. He then travelled to Europe to earn his dental degree from Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest, Hungary where he received the highest honours of his graduating class as summa cum laude.

When not at work, Dr. Jay enjoys working out at the gym, training for marathons, playing golf, and going on hikes.
Dr Jessica Reimer

General Dentist

Returning to Whitehorse with a passion for dentistry, Dr. Jessica Reimer is excited to reconnect with the community and provide compassionate, detail-oriented dental care.

With over seven years of experience and a dedication to excellence, Dr. Reimer is committed to helping patients achieve healthy smiles. She is known for creating a welcoming and comfortable environment while delivering high-quality dental services. Dr. Reimer is proficient in a wide range of dental procedures, including preventative care, restorative treatments, root canal therapy and oral surgery. Dr. Reimer strives to make every visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Reimer enjoys every moment spent with her family. She enjoys creating lasting memories with her husband, baby girl and dogs, whether its exploring nature trails, cooking or simply watching a good movie. She enjoys reading and is part of a book club. I've only had one appointment here so far but two thumbs up. I have extreme dental anxiety. The dentist I had was super calm and careful to always tell me what he was going to do before he did anything (versus other dentists I've had who narrate what they're doing after they've started). Also this dentist told me my teeth are a-ok versus the last dentist I saw who made a mile-long list of repairs he wanted to burn through. Call me crazy but I trust the one who's like "no no no reason for you to give me thousands of dollars" over the one who borderline wrote Benefits Kenny on my file. Edited to add I’ve since had a root canal and staff were amazing and understanding of my nerves on this. It actually ended up being the best dental experience I’ve ever had.

My first visit to this clinic was a week ago and I am still talking about how much I enjoyed the experience - who says that about a dental visit?! I loved it! They use all the latest technologies for an in-depth look into your oral health the hygienist was cheerful & kind (even offered a blanket) and the Dr. was great: personable professional and listened to what was important to me. It felt like I was leaving a Beauty Salon rather than a dental clinic... imagine if all of our healthcare services made us feel like that!

I consistently receive exceptional care from the team here. While visiting the dentist isn't my favorite activity their professionalism and genuine concern for my comfort truly stand out. They go above and beyond to ensure that I have a positive experience every time I visit. My crown fell out when I was 4 weeks postpartum and was not in the greatest state. They were able to see me the same day and re-cemented it super quickly! Highly recommended!
